Thanks to its bulky shape the Sas Rigais is considered one of the main peaks of the gruppo delle Odle. It reaches 3025 m of hight and therefore it is the highest summit together with the Furchetta.

Turn-by-turn directions
The tour starts at the Col Raiser cable car. At the mountain station follow the signposts to Sas Rigais via trail no. 4 and 13 in direction north-east to the forcella Mesdi and Sas Rigais junction.
Following the sign Sas Rigais you then climb the serpentine through a valley up into the forcella between Sas Rigais, 3025 m and Furchetta, 3025 m.
The secured track takes you across ropes, walls and channels through the east flank up to the summit of Sas Rigais, 3025m. Beware of falling rocks.
Descent via the partly exposed but secured south crest and then traverse the southwest flank across slip rocks on steel cables secured to the secure trail, that leads you to the Forcella de Mesdi (trail no. 29). Take trail number 13 and 4 to reach the top station of the Col Raiser cable car.
Climbing the via ferrata is undertaken at your own risk!
Via ferrata equipment and helmet are required.

The starting point is the valley station of the cable car Col Raiser, which is located in the municipality of Selva Gardena, but is not far from the centre of S. Cristina. It can be reached by internal shuttle buses or by car (chargeable parking on site).Coordinates
