The trail starts at the entrance of the Vallunga and runs through the whole valley.
The Vallunga is the entrance to the Naturepark Puez - Odle. It lasts a few km and it's in the middle of woods and mountains. The valley has a flair of quiteness and calm and everybody can enjoy it during a walk in the valley.

Vallunga is situated in the Nature Park of the Puez – Odle. It provides a magnificent scenery for snowshoe walkers. Starting point of the hike is the car park in Vallunga. It goes quite flat with no particular differences in height until the end of the valley. Therefore it’s suitable for everybody. The snow-shoe path is marked, but it is also possible to sit through the white coat its own track. During this migration, you will walk along some culturally monuments which shapes the life in the village like the ruins of Wolkenstein, the chapel of Silvester and the Way of the Cross with hand-carved stations.
