Sassolungo circuit
Nordic Walking
· Val Gardena Dolomites
difficult
Distance 15.8 km
This route circling the Sassolungo massif is a superlative trial run. The beautiful landscape and the breathtaking views will make you forget the physical exertion. The route runs mostly on a constant elevation between approx. 2,200 m and 2,300 m, so that you experience only small changes in elevation. Starting point is at Sella Pass, from here we run alongside the path no. 557 (Friedrich August Way) to the Rifugio Sasso Piatto. Then we take the no. 527 path, which brings us below the Sasso Piatto to where it forks off to the Rifugio Vicenza. From here, we take the path no. 526 to Tramans. Here we continue on path no. 526 to the Comici hut and over the Città dei Sassi back to the Sella Pass.
