This tour impresses with its wonderful views of the Sassolungo and Sella massifs and the fewer metres in altitude that you have to climb under your own muscle power. Bikers who like to ride downhill and have a good basis in mountain bike riding technique will love this tour. Also for kids who are already good mountain bikers, the trails of this tour guarantee a perfect biking day. Surrounded by breathtaking panoramas and thanks to the lift support from the Ciampinoi cable car and the Gran Paradiso chairlift, the tour can easily be completed in half a day.

Turn-by-turn directions

Immediately after the ascent with the Ciampinoi lift at 2,200 metres, you are welcomed by a breathtaking view of the Sassolungo. The first descent along a path leads in the direction of Comici. But beware: we bikers are not alone on this section. We share the path with numerous hikers and, as always, the rule applies: with mutual respect, the mountain experience is more enjoyable for everyone. After a short, steep uphill section, we reach the Comici Hut and then ride downhill to the Gran Paradiso chairlift. Already during the ascent, you can see the Paravis Trail in its full glory: a snaking line that nestles into the landscape and guarantees really great flow fun. But the fun doesn't end with the Paravis Trail: just below start the Family Trail and the Easy Jump Line, the first, as the name suggests, also suitable for experienced bike kids, the other for bikers who already have some trail riding experience behind them. The trails lead to Plan de Gralba: after a short section on asphalt, you turn left over a bridge and immediately right onto a path that leads through a meadow. This soon leads into a wood and once you leave it, there is only a short stretch of descent on the ski slope to get back to Selva.
