With the Dolomiti SuperSummer Card, the famous Sellaronda ski tour is also walkable in July and August. The Sellaronda HIKE tour is fascinating because of the unique panorama of the four Ladin valleys and three Italian provinces around the Sella massif. Be aware, the tour is very long and requires good physical condition. Start early in the morning with the first lift and take a packed lunch with you.

Turn-by-turn directions

This lift tour starts with the first lift at 8:30 am at Monte Pana in S. Cristina. The Mont de Sëura lift takes you right to the alpine pasture at the foot of the Sassolungo. Then, after a short hike (trail no. 526B) and a ride with the Tramans chairlift follow a short descent along trail no. 21, take the Piza Pranseies chairlift to reach the peak of Ciampinoi.

The Ciampinoi cable car takes you back to the valley to Selva Gardena, where you cross the village and take the Dantercëpies cable car to its top station, located between the Gardena Pass and the Cir peaks. Here, follow path 12A to the top station of the Frara cable car. Via a 3 km long walk along the Borest trail (path no. 28) at the edge of the Pisciadù waterfall you reach the Boè cable car in Corvara. After using this lift, a somewhat steeper 2 km descent follows to get to the Campolongo Pass.

Continue with the Campolongo-Bec de Roces chairlift. Now follows what is probably the longest section of this tour: this runs for about 7 km via Arabba to the valley station of the Fodom cable car. Once you arrive at the Pordoi Pass, you continue for about 2.5 km to the next lift, Pian Frataces. At Lupo Bianco, the next cable car, Pradel Rodella, takes you straight on.

The last section of this tour runs for about 6 km without any major ascents or descents to the top station of the Mont Sëura chairlift, where you left for the tour in the morning. If you are a little late, you have the option of returning to the valley at the Sella Pass with bus no. 471.
