The Fassa high trail leads us along the lower slopes of the Catinaccio group to the Rifugio Vajolet with the imposing Vajolet towers.
This tour takes us from the Rifugio Ciampedie via the Fassa high trail to the southern end of the Catinaccio group. We then hike between imposing peaks and along the Croda Davol (Baumann ridge). We pass the Rosengartenspitze (Catinaccio) and finally reach the Rifugio Vajolet. With a view of the Vajolet towers, we take a rest and then continue downhill in the Valle del Vajolet to return to our starting point.
