The Seurasas (2,125 m) is a popular visited view point above Ortisei, which is loved by the local people. The hiking trail not only offers a fantastic view, but the interesting path conditions make this trail a special feature.

Turn-by-turn directions

Walk from Ortisei parish church and follow the sign posted path towards S. Giacomo and to the Dialogue Walk on the left (see excursion 11). Follow the winding path until Col de Flam. From here continue on an ascending forest path and, finally, take a right and walk up to a small church dedicated to St. Jacob. From the St. Jacob’s church, follow path no. 6 to Balest and on to Sëurasas.

Accessible with line 350 and 172.
Timetables and travel information are available in the local tourist office in Val Gardena.

By road

Accessible on foot from the citycentre of Ortisei.

Parking

Possibility to park at the Central parking place or at the valley station of the Seceda or Alpe di Siusi cable car.
