This dreamlike circular hike offers a breathtaking view from the Eisack Valley to the Schlern area to the Sella Pass. The Resciesa is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, located in the Puez - Geisler Nature Park.

Turn-by-turn directions

You will reach „Costa dl Cason“ walking north-east from the mountain station. Take the trail no.31 from the intersection to proceed towards Außerraschötz. Along this path, you can enjoy the unique view of the Puez-Geisler Nature Park. Follow the path no. 1 followed by no. 10 until you reach the summit cross (2.281m). Again, you will have a breath-taking view of the Dolomites. Descend to the “Heilig-Kreuz” Chapel. The path no. 35 will take you back to the starting point. The return to Ortisei is possible on foot (about 1.5 hours) or by funicular.

By road

With the funicular from the valley station to the Resciesa mountain station.

Hallo und Nein, leider ist dieser Wanderweg in teilen absolut nicht mit dem Fahrrad befahrbar. Evtl. gib es Alternativrouten aber dazu kann ich ihnen leider nichts empfehlen, weil wir nur genau diesen Weg bewandert haben.
