From Resciesa to Seceda

Ortisei – DOLOMITES Val Gardena
Panoramic hike through forests and meadows with fantastic mountain scenery.
The starting point for this tour is Ortisei (1,236 m). The funicular takes you up to the mountain station of the “Resciesa” Hut at 2,103 m. The trail no. 35 will bring you to the mostly flat “Innerraschötzer” Hut. After approx. 1.5 hours you will reach the Brogles followed by the steep slope (2.447 m) "Eur de Bredles" (path no.6) over which you will get to the Panascharte. The walking time is about 2 hours. Walk along the Seceda, then downhill to Ortisei (path no. 6). Calculate about 2.5 hours.
ATTENTION: Currently the Panascharte is closed. Alternatively, the mount Seceda can be reached trough the trail N. 29 over the Mittagsscharte (approx. 3 h longer walk).

The tour starts south of the Seceda railway. Walk towards the Cuca saddle, from there the path follows more or less along the ski slope to the Corona hut. Enjoy the last view of the Geisler peaks before you hike down the valley. Follow the trail to „Mareufer” and further to Furnes. From there the path continues to Oberwinkel. There you will find traditional building cults from the 16th century inn Costamula. From Oberwinkel follow the same path to the Anna valley until you reach the valley station of the Seceda cable car.

Accessible with the line 350 from Bressanone or Bolzano to the St.Antonius Square in Ortisei.
By road
With the Seceda cable car to the Secea area
Parking
Possibility to park at the valley station of the Seceda cable car, at the Central parking house or at the valley station of the Alpe di Siusi cable car.
