You can zoom the map during navigation and change your viewing direction. If you take a longer break, the map will reorient itself to your route. The screen remains on during navigation unless you switch it off manually. If you are listening to music on your smartphone while navigating, it will be turned down during the voice announcements so that you can hear all the information clearly.
Tip for cyclists: You can also zoom in the map with just one finger. To do this, tap the map twice in quick succession. If you swipe upwards directly afterwards, the map zooms out. If you swipe down after double-tapping, the map zooms in. Practical!
Tip when navigating your own tours: The quality of your tour planning can have a great influence on the quality of the navigation. If you place your points inaccurately at intersections, the system may not be able to assign the correct direction correctly. Therefore, it is better to place points before and after road junctions, not directly on them.
